Fall vs Spring: Vendor Marketing

While it's nice to have turnkey systems and processes in place, Fall and Spring are different in their marketing flows and might not necessary look-alike in content and marketing strategies.

Spring generally starts off slightly slower for brands that aren’t deep in the snow sport category and doesn’t really start booming until around Spring Break. A few key things to keep in mind when building a campaign for spring is:

  • End of season Fall sale

  • New Year’s Resolutions

  • Valentine’s Day

  • International Women’s Day

  • April Fools

  • Mother’s Day

  • Father’s Day

  • Fourth of July

Fall often starts a little slow for brands, as they launch new products in late August. Generally, this season ends with a big bang during holiday. While building a campaign for Fall, it’s good to keep the following things top of mind:

  • End of season Spring sale

  • Back to School

  • 1st Day of Fall

  • Thanksgiving

  • Black Friday, Cyber Monday

  • Holiday December Campaign
